Here Vikram Jha, owner of a grocery shop named Trishna Mart, was shot by unknown miscreants. The incident happened so suddenly and close that Vikram was seriously injured on the spot and when he was taken to the hospital, doctors declared him dead.

After this sensational incident, there was a stir in Zakariapur area. On hearing the sound of firing late at night, the locals came out of their homes in panic. Some immediately informed the police, after which the team of Ramakrishna Nagar police station reached the spot and sent the injured to the hospital. However, by then it was too late and Vikram Jha had died. After this, the body was taken and sent for postmortem. At the same time, the police has registered an FIR in the case and the investigation process has been expedited.
Police engaged in investigation, interrogation of CCTV and eyewitnesses
The incident has been confirmed by the SP of Eastern Patna. He said that the deceased has been identified as Vikram Jha, who was originally from Lahariya Sarai in Darbhanga district. He also informed that the preliminary investigation has also revealed the involvement of the deceased in criminal tendency. At present, the police team is investigating the spot and footage of CCTV cameras installed nearby is being investigated. Along with this, the interrogation of eyewitnesses is also going on.
