Moradabad News: The police administration has carried out major action on illegal mining in Mundapande police station area of Moradabad district. Last night, the police caught a tractor-trolley red handed while mining illegal soil and seized it from the spot. This action was taken in the dark of night when the mining mafia was engaged in the excavation and transportation of the soil.
Screws on mining mafia
According to police sources, illegal mining activities in the region had increased for the last few weeks. With the help of mining mafia tractor-trolley and other resources, the soil was illegally mining at night. Due to this, the government was suffering a major loss of revenue. After receiving the complaint, the Mundapande police station came into action and planned to raid at night.
Tractor and tools seized on the spot
A tractor-trolley was seized in the raid by the police team, carrying the illegally excavated soil. Also, tools used in shovel, hoe and other mining were also recovered. The tractor-trolley has been seized immediately and the investigation of the case has been started.
