Chennai . BJP leader H. Raja said that Prime Minister Narendra Modi and Union Home Minister Amit Shah were threatened with killing the murder of Narendra Modi and Union Home Minister Amit Shah.
Senior Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) leader and national executive member H. Raja has filed a police complaint by making serious allegations against Viduthalai Chiruthigal Kachi (VCK) party leader Ezhil Maran. The BJP leader, while handing over a formal complaint to the Chennai Police Commissioner, has alleged that he has received a threatening letter. The king has demanded that immediate action should be taken in this matter and security arrangements should be ensured.
In his complaint, H. Raja said that Azhil Maran’s letter used inflammatory language and allegedly threatened to kill Prime Minister Narendra Modi and Union Home Minister Amit Shah. According to the king, the letter states that when Prime Minister Modi and Home Minister Shah come to Tamil Nadu next time, “Desi Bomb” will be used against him. In this threat, former BJP President of Tamil Nadu K.K. Annamalai and H. Raja themselves have also been challenged.
The king has not only termed the letter as an individual attack, but has also described a serious traitorous act against the leaders in the country’s highest constitutional positions. The BJP leader wrote in his complaint, “This is a serious threat against the Prime Minister and the Home Minister, which is a threat to the democratic fabric of our nation.”
BJP leader Raja urged the Chennai police to take prompt action. He demanded that an FIR should be registered against Ezhil Maran under appropriate sections of the Indian Code, especially criminal intimidation and treason. In addition, the king demanded a detailed investigation into the case and requested the security arrangements.
H. Raja also claimed that he has the original copy of the threatening letter, which he is ready to give as evidence. Expressing concern about the safety of national leaders, he demanded strict legal action and precautionary measures, so that there is no untoward incident.
