Raebareli News: An important meeting of municipal bodies was organized under the chairmanship of District Magistrate Harshita Mathur in Rae Bareli Collectorate Auditorium. The meeting was attended by the presidents and executive officers of the municipality and the Nagar Panchayats. In the meeting, the District Magistrate made a thorough review on various issues related to public interest and gave necessary instructions.

Instructions regarding cleanliness and street lights

The District Magistrate directed that the system of cleanliness in all the municipal areas should be further strengthened. Garbage disposal, cleaning of drains and regular broom-water system should be ensured. He said that immediate repair or new light should be taken in places where street lights are bad or not installed.

Priority gets priority for public utility works

While reviewing the development schemes run by the municipal bodies in the meeting, the District Magistrate clarified that public utility schemes should be given priority. Instructions were given to complete the incomplete works of the water life mission soon. Apart from this, instructions were given to immediately start the repair work of Jail Road and Manika Road and complete it within the stipulated time limit.

Instructions for officers to work with loyalty

Addressing the officials present in the meeting, the District Magistrate said that all the officers should do their works with full honesty and integrity. He said that inspections will be done from time to time and strict action will be taken against the officials concerned on negligence.

All the officials assured cooperation for strengthening basic facilities in the district.
