Rabareli news: An unfortunate incident has come to light late Thursday evening in Masterganj village of Unchahar Kotwali area. Two brothers, Kalim and Naseem, residents of Khurrampur village, who came to visit their aunt’s house, were beaten up badly by the villagers as a thief. According to the victims, both of them had walked to the other end of the village. Due to darkness, the villagers got misunderstood and alleged that more than two dozen people together started beating them as thieves. Hearing the noise, someone informed the police, after which the police reached the spot saved the lives of both the brothers. Both brothers have been seriously injured in the fight.
Villagers say that there were about half a dozen theft incidents in the surrounding villages in the past, due to which they were apprehensive and cautious. Due to this apprehension, he considered these unknown youths as thieves and attacked without interrogation. Then some Yadavas started beating him and his brother as a thief, which led to badly injured both brothers.
Kotwal Sanjay Kumar said that necessary legal action is being taken on the basis of the victims of the victims. The police is investigating the case intensively and is trying to identify the people involved in the fight. He has also appealed to the villagers not to interrogate any unknown person before considering them as suspicious and do not take the law in their hands.
