Bhopal (BHOPAL) Weather Station released analysis of rain from 1 June to 17 July under the monsoon season. According to this, 67 percent more rainfall has been recorded in the state. However, some cities in western Madhya Pradesh, including Indore, are far behind normal rains. Indore received 28 percent less rainfall than average.
These figures of the state have further increased the concern of the people, as most parts of the state are growing rapidly towards completing the rains, while Indore city has recorded 6.6 inches of rain between June 1 and 17. Talking about the average of the district, it has also reached 7.2 inches, while according to the Bhopal Meteorological Center, the entire state has recorded 67 percent more rainfall than the average. It recorded 84 percent more than average in eastern Madhya Pradesh and 51 percent more than average in western Madhya Pradesh. The report said that less than normal rainfall has been said in eight districts including Indore in the western state, but if we look at the average, it is going ahead of normal due to other districts of western Madhya Pradesh. The highest rainfall in the state so far was recorded in Mandla as 35.37 inches.
In the eastern state, all the districts beyond the average, somewhat behind the average
According to the report released by the Meteorological Center, all the districts of eastern Madhya Pradesh are far ahead of the average. Many districts have received twice as usual rainfall. At the same time, the rainfall in many districts is less than average in western Madhya Pradesh, including Indore. The report itself is telling that during this period Indore district should have average 10.04 inches of rain, but in fact it has received 7.2 inches of rain, which is 28 percent less than normal. Apart from Indore in the western region, Agar-Malwa, Burhanpur, Khandwa, Khargone, Shajapur and Ujjain are also lagging behind the average.
There is no possibility of good rain for the next few days
According to the Meteorological Center at the airport, there was no rainfall between yesterday morning till this morning. Yesterday the day’s maximum temperature was 30.2 degrees, which was normal. The minimum temperature of the night was 24 degrees, which was 1 degree above normal. During this period, the direction of the winds was western and south-western and the maximum speed reached 19 km per hour. Meteorologists said that even today the weather is expected to remain open and there is no hope of good rain for the next few days.
