Rajnath singh on term: Today terrorism stands as the biggest challenge before the whole world. It is an enemy of values like humanity, peace, coexistence, development and democracy. This is the result of a staunch thinking that only gives rise to destruction, fear and hatred. History is witness to this that terrorism is destructive from every point of view. It is the illusion that a terrorist can be a “freedom fighter”. No religious, ideological or political reason cannot justify terrorism. Not only a revolution from the womb of terrorism, but only hatred, Babarbadi and frustration are born. No human purpose can ever be achieved by bloodshed and violence.
Mass effort is necessary to eliminate terrorism
Natural disasters and epidemics have ended over time, but terrorism is such an epidemic, which will not end on its own. Concrete and collective efforts are necessary for its elimination. As long as it exists, it will continue to harm world peace and coexistence. India has set an example in front of the whole world in the fight against terror. India has been a victim of Pakistan -sponsored terror for decades. Innocent tourists in Pahalgam were killed only on the basis of their religion. This was the culmination of cruelty-mercury. The purpose of this attack was to break the unity of India and spread fear in the country, but such disgusting efforts always fail. No religion justifies killing innocents. Terrorists try to give only the name of religion and give validity to their misdeeds. Now our policy is that wherever the terrorists are, we will not hesitate to finish them. Along with this, the government sponsoring terrorism and the mastermind of terror will give a befitting reply. India is no longer a country to react as before. There has been a fundamental change in our policy. Now we follow the zero tolerance ‘policy against terror. Surgical strike of 2016, Balakot Air Strike of 2019 and Operation Sindoor of 2025 are evidence of our new policy and determination. Now we will not even distinguish whether terrorists are sponsored or associated with any organization. The countries that support terror, are now being directly answered.
An attack is also considered as many attacks
Some time ago at the No Money for Terror Conference, Prime Minister Modi said, we also consider a single attack as many attacks. Until terrorism is destroyed, India will not sit calm. ”India not only took strict action against the terrorists by Operation Sindoor, but also showed that the Indian Armed Forces and the government are fully committed to the complete eradication of terrorism. Although destroying terrorists and their camps is a necessary step, but it is not enough to destroy that the whole network to eliminate terrorism. The problem will not be uprooted, till then this problem will continue to come back.
India gave a clear message
India postponed the Indus Water Treaty and gave the same message that as long as Pakistan continues to organize terrorism, it will not get economic or diplomatic benefits. The Indus river system plays an important role in its economy. Terrorism is a coward that does not care about borders. The number of countries affected by terrorist incidents has increased rapidly. It is the demand of the hour that the global sea should be united against terror by leaving political selfishness. A strategic coalition or political inclination should not weaken the direction and influence of this global fight. The most basic step in this battle would be to decide an universal and practical definition of terrorism. India has made efforts in this direction through a comprehensive conference on international terrorism before the United Nations, but so far no consensus has been created. Due to this, procedures such as investigating terrorist attacks, legal action and extradition of accused are interrupted. The global community should quickly decide a clear definition of terrorism, so that action against it can be effective and just.
International institutions have to understand
International financial institutions also have to understand how the bailout package and loans given to Pakistan are spent in the nutrition of cross -border terrorism. India emphasized in the IMF that repeated financial assistance to the country supporting terrorism not only gives wrong message, but also disregards global values. It raises a question mark on the credibility of financial agencies and also becomes an incentive for countries like Pakistan. Until Pakistan honestly terminates its terrorist network, it should not be given financial assistance of which type. Maintaining it in the gray list by FATF is a logical and mandatory step. There was no division line in state and non-state actors in Pakistan. The country’s military officers whose internationally nominated Luvkar Jaish’s terrorists participate, it would be an expecting cooperation against terrorism.
Question of security of Pak nuclear weapons
This danger remains constant that Pakistan’s nuclear weapons may weaken and they can reach the hand of non-state actors. This is a very serious threat to all humanity. Therefore, Pakistan’s nuclear program should be brought under the supervision of the International Atomic Energy Agency. The challenge of pseudo war is also dangerous. Some countries spread terrorism in neighboring countries under the guise of their friendly nations. Until this trend is exposed, this trend will continue. International response to terrorist attacks should not be based on particular or victims. When the countries decide their selfishness, which attack to condemn and ignore, then it weakens collective efforts against terror and indirectly gives validity to terrorists. The impact of safe bases of Pakistan’s terrorist organizations is not limited to South Asia only. The use of very modern technology has expanded the reach of terrorist organizations globally. When the terrorist threats are not limited to the geographical limit, then global cooperation is mandatory to deal with them.
