Haapur News: An encounter took place between Kotwali police and crooks of Hapur district of Uttar Pradesh. In which the Rs 25,000 prize crook Amit alias Mangal alias Sardar was injured by the police shot. According to the police, the injured crook carried out the incident of robbing a woman riding a scooty in his house colony on 29 April with his partner Ankit Rathi. The police have admitted the injured crook to the hospital for treatment.
What is the whole matter
Police said that on Saturday, the city Kotwali in -charge Inspector Munish Pratap Singh was checking suspects and vehicles at the HPDA intersection under the leadership of SSV outpost in -charge Navneet Singh. Meanwhile, a suspect riding a scooty was seen coming, the police indicated to stop the scooty rider, then he started firing on the police and started running towards Anand Vihar. Police laid siege from all sides and fired a retaliation for self -defense, in which a bullet was shot in the crook’s leg and he was injured.
The partner is already arrested
In this regard, CO City Jitendra Sharma said that the injured crook was identified as Amit alias Mangal alias Sardar, resident of Sambhal district. SP Hapur had declared a reward of 25 thousand rupees on this vicious criminal. The police immediately arrested him and admitted him to the hospital for treatment. The CO said the police have recovered Scooty, Tamancha and live cartridges, Rs 20,300 (money received) from the possession of the injured crook Amit. The CO said that Amit’s partner Ankit Rathi is a resident of Simbhali, already arrested in another encounter.
