Meerut News: There is a huge outrage in the Rashtriya Lok Dal (RLD) over the deadly attack on Sandeep Shah, father of Vishvendra Shah, a personal assistant of Union Minister Jayant Chaudhary in Baghpat and former manager of Gandhi Inter College, Khekra. On receiving information about the incident, party leaders and workers in Meerut protested and demanded prompt action from the state government.

RLD state spokesperson Aathir Rizvi said that Sandeep Shah is a social worker and a calm person. Attack on him is an attack on social consciousness and democratic thinking not only on one person. He demanded from Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath that a fair inquiry into the case should be conducted and the culprits should be arrested soon and strict punishment.

In a prayer meeting held at the party office, hundreds of activists gathered and wished Sandeep Shah to get well soon. On this occasion, senior leader Dr. Anwar Saeed said that this attack is an attempt to break the morale of the people engaged in public service, which RLD will not accept at any cost.

RLD workers warned that if action is not taken soon, the movement will be started across the state. He demanded the police administration to disclose the incident soon and emphasized on safety, mental support and financial support to the victim’s family.

Event Description:

On Saturday evening, Sandeep Shah had gone for a walk as usual, when unknown assailants opened fire on him. He was first taken to CHC and then admitted to a private hospital in Meerut, where his condition is now said to be stable.
