Up news: Unprecedented arrangements have been made by the State Government to conduct the proposed Review Officer/Assistant Review Officer (RO/ARO) Exam-2023 on 27 July by the Uttar Pradesh Public Service Commission to complete the fully well-known, transparent and uninterruptedly. Technology, privacy, administrative monitoring and stringent security measures have been implemented to prevent any kind of disturbance, paper leaks or use of inappropriate means during the examination. In this, monitoring is being ensured through artificial intelligence (AI), CCTV and social media.
It is noteworthy that this examination is being conducted in all 75 districts of the state on 27 July. This examination will be held in the same shift from 9:30 am to 12:30 pm, in which more than 10.76 lakh candidates will participate. For this, a total of 2,382 examination centers have been set up across the state. In each district, the District Magistrate has been appointed as the Nodal Officer, who will monitor the entire system of examination and take quick decisions as required.
Phulproof will be safety of question papers
To maintain the confidentiality of the examination, the question papers have been prepared from two different printers in two different sets. The question paper on the day of examination will be selected from computer based randemization process, 45 minutes before the examination starts. All question papers will be in eight multiple-water-jumble series, on which unique and variable barcodes will be mentioned. They will be placed in a three-tier lock-based confidential trunk box, which will be protected from a five-tier temporary-proof packing. This entire process will be monitored through live CCTV streaming, which can be seen at the center, district and commission level.
Biometric and face recognition will enter
The procedure for identification and examination centers of the candidates has been kept completely digital and safe. The process of center allocation has been done through computer randomization so that there is no scope for any kind of bias. The e-entry card has been linked to the eight-tier verification process based on One Time Registration (OTR), including important details like the candidate’s name, father’s name, birth date, category, high school year and roll number. At the time of Pravesh, identification will be ensured through biometric verification and face recognition technology, while the responsibility of double-layer fristers will be ensured by the police force and working organization.
Strict watch will remain at examination centers
The examination centers will be deployed at the examination centers to ensure monitoring from each angle, a sector magistrate, a static magistrate, center administrator, two co-centers and trained investigants. Of these, 50 percent will be appointed by the Center Administrator and the remaining 50 percent will be appointed by the District Magistrate or District School Inspector. The duty of interpreters will also be determined through computer randomization, ensuring fairness. In addition, special social media monitoring cells have been set up to monitor any rumor, leaks or unfair activity on social media. There will be complete ban on any type of electronic device in examination centers.
