Sant Kabir Nagar News: An encounter took place between police and inter -government vehicle thief gang in Santakbirnagar district of Uttar Pradesh on Wednesday. A total of five miscreants have been arrested by the police in this encounter, while two miscreants have been shot in the feet. The injured miscreants have been admitted to the Community Health Center, Mehdawal for treatment, where they are undergoing treatment. Police have recovered two 315 bore pistols, two khok cartridges, a pickup and a bolero from the miscreants.
Let us tell you that this whole matter is of Akohli village of Belhar Kala police station area of Santakbirnagar district. On the information of the informer, the team of Belhar Kala Kotwali Police and SOG took action at 4:00 am. When the police tried to stop the pickup and Bolero, the miscreants started firing on the police team. The police retaliated and fired, in which two miscreants were shot in the feet.
Out of the five miscreants arrested in the case, the injured miscreants have been identified as Shahnawaz resident of Azamgarh and Jainuddin, resident of Jaunpur. The other three miscreants are also residents of Sultanpur and Jaunpur districts. On receiving the information about the encounter, Additional Superintendent of Police Sushil Kumar Singh reached the spot and inquired about the case.
