Lucknow News: In the holy month of Sawan, the capital Lucknow was seen in Shiv Bhakti. From Budheshwar Mahadev Temple to Mankameshwar Temple, a huge crowd of devotees was seen. Long queues of devotees started outside the temples since morning. Everyone was eager to see their adorable Lord Shiva and Har Har Mahadev .. The entire atmosphere became devotional with the slogans of bomb bomb.

A large crowd of Shiva devotees thronged the famous Budheshwar Mahadev temple in Lucknow today. People stood in line for hours to see Lord Ashutosh Shiva Shankar. In the temple premises, Shiva used to be echoed and enthusiasm of devotees. Similarly, the famous Mankameshwar temple in the city also saw a huge crowd of devotees. Devotees offered special prayers and sought blessings from Bholenath.

The special thing about Budheshwar Mahadev Temple is that it is counted among the Tretayugin temples of Lucknow. According to religious beliefs, when Lord Rama sent Mother Sita to exile, then Laxman ji started worrying about her safety. He performed the harsh penance of Lord Shiva at the same site of Lucknow, which pleased Mahadev appeared and assured Lakshmana to protect Mother Sita.
It is said that the day Lord Shiva appeared to Lakshmana was Wednesday, hence special worship is done in Budheshwar temple on Wednesday. Sita Kund is located near the temple complex, which is believed to be that Mother Sita took a bath here.
