Shamli news: On Tuesday, on the Delhi-Shamli-Saharanpur rail route, the Railway Department conducted intensive ticket checking operation, in which a fine of about 62 thousand rupees was charged from about 250 passengers traveling without tickets. During the checking, many passengers left their luggage and ran away. The railway administration has now decided to conduct a daily checking campaign on this route.
Based on the complaints received, the Railway Department launched this special campaign during the journey from Loni to Barot. Under the leadership of Chief Ticket Inspector Raj Ratna, a team of 10 ticket checkers and 17 security forces took joint action and conducted intensive investigation.
Passengers got scared after seeing the checking team
During the checking, many passengers were nervous after seeing the ticket checking team and escaped leaving their belongings in the platform or train. At the same time, as the news of ticket checking spread, huge crowds gathered at the ticket window at all major railway stations, which led the railways to benefit in revenue.
Intensive checking campaign will run in the morning and evening
Chief Ticket Inspector Raj Ratna informed that now Delhi-Shamli rail route is on the main agenda of the railway department. Especially intensive checking campaign will be conducted in the morning and evening, in which security forces will also be deployed. Railways have appealed to the passengers to travel only with a valid ticket, otherwise strict action will be faced.
