Shravasti news: District Officer (DM) Ajay Kumar Dwivedi conducted a surprise inspection of the historic Munda Shivala temple located in the municipality area Bhinaga and the contact route associated with it. This temple is years old and is considered extremely important from religious, cultural and historical point of view. During the inspection, the DM reviewed the status of the temple and directed to start the process of renovation soon.
Priority will be beautification of temple complex
During the inspection, the DM instructed the Executive Officer Dr. Anita Shukla to start the construction work of proper cleaning, walls repair, paint and contact route (from Bhinaga-Sirsia Marg to Shivala) soon. He said that this work should be done on priority basis so that there is no inconvenience to the devotees.
Religious tourism will get encouragement
DM Ajay Kumar Dwivedi said that the revival of the temple will not only make this place a center of attraction for local devotees, but also for tourists coming from India and abroad. This will promote religious tourism and also benefit the local economy.
Presence of administrative officials
During the inspection, Additional District Magistrate Amarendra Kumar Verma, Deputy Collector Bhinaga Ashish Bhardwaj, Executive Officer Municipal Council Bhinaga Dr. Anita Shukla and other administrative officers and municipal employees were present.
