Shravasti news: The possibility of which was already being done, finally the district administration has banned the Dikouli fair to be held under the Sonwa police station in the district citing Indo -Pak tension. However, the administration says that after talks with the officials of the Fair Management Committee in this regard, a decision has been taken with consent. At the same time, the fair management committee is saying that this is a sheer injustice. But in today’s current circumstances, we are not in a position to speak anything openly.

Restrictions on fair in view of security

Let us know that the administration has already banned the Jeth fair to be held in the dargah of Syed Salar Masood Ghazi in the neighboring district of Bahraich. In such a situation, the famous Dikouli fair to be held on the tomb of the elder man under the Sonwa police station of Shravasti was already under threat. But in the past, the officials of the fair management committee had said after the talks that a fair would definitely be held here, because we had never sought permission from the administration for the first time to hold the fair here, so this time also without permission, the fair will be like the previous years at its scheduled time.

On Monday, SP Ghanshyam Chaurasia said that the Dikouli fair held in Jeth month will not happen this time due to security reasons. This decision has been taken by the administration after talks with the officials of the fair management committee.

Know what is the recognition of this fair

It is noteworthy that the tomb of a old man is located in Dikouli, Sonwa. It is said that this was Syed Salar Masood Ghazi’s elder Valid. It is believed that without the forehead, Jeth is not fulfilled in the dargah of Ghazi in the month of Jeth. Due to this belief, thousands of Jeths of the whole month from abroad and surrounding districts come to the tomb of a large number of Zarine for the tomb.

These used to come from districts of Bihar state including Nepal Nation, Prayagraj, Basti, Gorakhpur, Deoria, Kushinagar, Pratapgarh, Mirzapur Ayodhya, Faizabad, Barabanki. In such a situation, when the organizing of the Dargah fair in Bahraich has already been banned due to security reasons. So now the district administration has been asked not to organize the fair in Dikouli due to security reasons in view of the tension arising between India and Pakistan on behalf of the district administration.
