Police arrived after getting the information, along with the investigation of the case, arrested the couple while recovering the child safely. After interrogation, both the husband and wife were challaned under the relevant section of BNS.
Additional Superintendent of Police Headquarters Anil Kumar said that this success was jointly achieved by the team of police station Rampur Barconia, police station Robertsganj Police and SOG. Told that the police team was looking for him since the information of child theft from the district hospital located in the medical college campus. Along with the hospital, the nearby CC TV footage was investigated. Information about the path through which the female child came out with her husband was collected. Based on this, the woman was identified as Mamta, a resident of Rampur village of Rampur Barconia police station area.
On the basis of the information received, on Tuesday afternoon, the police team reached the village and gathered necessary information and along with the recovery of the child safely, the woman and her husband were arrested.
