Kannauj news: A huge gathering was organized by the Samajwadi Party at the SP office at Kannauj on the occasion of Constitution Mann Pillar Foundation Day. The party was attended by the party’s national general secretary and senior MLA Indrajit Saroj as the chief guest. He called for the soul of the Constitution-socialism, secularism, justice, freedom and equality-to the people.
Indrajit Saroj said that backward, Dalits and minorities will have a decisive role in the formation of the proposed PDA government in 2027. He also clarified that he would remain connected with the socialist ideology till the last breath and will continue to raise the voice of the exploited. He warned about factionalism in SP that if such a situation comes to light, it will be taken seriously.
In the meeting, District President Kalim Khan targeted the BJP and said that the current government is trying to weaken the Constitution and the SP will struggle against it from road to Parliament. District in -charge Anil Pratap Singh gave a message to the youth to fulfill the responsibility of saving the constitution.
Former MLAs Arvind Singh Yadav, Tahir Hussain Siddiqui and Kalyan Singh Dohra, while referring to the ideology of Dr. Ambedkar and Dr. Lohia, described the policies of Akhilesh Yadav as true adhering of the Constitution. At the same time, State Vice President Irfanul Haq Qadri said that whenever the constitution was attacked, socialist workers took to the streets.
Many leaders including Anil Pal, Ramshankar Singh Lodhi, Yash Kumar Dohra, Akash Shakya, Hasib Hasan, Prawal Pratap Singh Baghel, Shyam Singh Yadav expressed their views in the program. The meeting was conducted by Dr. Ramsevak Rajput.
Hundreds of workers, intellectuals, students, advocates and public were present on the occasion. Everyone reiterated the resolve to protect the basic spirit of the Constitution in one voice.
