Hyderabad. Telangana Chief Minister (CM) Revanth Reddy criticized the BJP (BJP) -led Central Government and accused him of courage, strategy and lack of transparency in dealing with the recent struggle with Pakistan. Addressing a public meeting before the Jai Hind Yatra in Hyderabad, CM Revanth said that the BJP is using the war as a political manipulation, while the nation is mourning for its martyred soldiers and the slain citizens. Reddy questioned the silence of the Modi government on the results of the war. He said, ‘What happened after four days of war? Who surrendered? We do not know. He alleged that the end of the war was not announced by India but by US President Donald Trump.
He targeted the Prime Minister for not calling an all -party meeting to discuss the decision of the ceasefire and reminded that an all -party meeting was called before the war started. Telangana Chief Minister Revanth Reddy said, ‘You called us when you needed us. We stood with the army. But you did not include us while finishing the war. He also questioned the BJP’s rhetoric regarding national security. CM Reddy asked, ‘How many Rafale jets did Pakistan destroy? Why is anyone talking about it? ‘ He criticized the government for failing to regain Pakistan-occupied Kashmir despite repeated demands from citizens and political parties.
War not just about speech
Comparing with the leadership of former Prime Minister Indira Gandhi of the Modi government, Reddy said, ‘The war is not just about giving speeches. It is about courage, resolution and strategy. ‘ Telangana Chief Minister Reddy cited the 1971 war and construction of Bangladesh as an example of decisive leadership. He said, ‘Even when America supported Pakistan, Indira Gandhi remained standing on her decision and India won the 1971 war. In that war, we not only conquered but divided Pakistan and created Bangladesh and gave them a strong reply. But today China has captured our 4,000 square kilometers of land, our young Colonel Suresh Babu of Suryapet has been killed and our Prime Minister is silent.
If Rahul was PM, he would bring POK back
Revanth Reddy said that Rahul Gandhi would handle this situation in a different way. He said, ‘If Rahul Gandhi had been the Prime Minister, he would have brought POK back. Modi is like a banned 1,000 rupee note. We need leaders like Rahul Gandhi. Modi can never win a war for us. Only Rahul Gandhi can do this as Prime Minister. He said that the Congress had given full support to the government during the struggle with Pakistan in the interest of national security. He also targeted the tricolor rallies of the BJP and asked if these rallies were actually being organized in memory of the victims of the Pahalgam attack and the soldiers who were martyred in the war.
People still remember Indira Gandhi: Reddy
He said, ‘This is not a personal matter of your party. It is about the country and its people. Revanth Reddy said that the ‘Jai Hind Yatra’ shows solidarity with the armed forces, whose morale has fallen due to the actions of the Modi government. Revanth Reddy asked PM Modi, ‘Why are you criticizing the Congress? For victory of 1967, 1971? Or to support you now? That is why people still remember Indira Gandhi in every corner of India. When China came to the war in 1967, he brought China to his knees and taught him a lesson. Now I want to ask BJP what are you doing? In the war you declared, Pakistan killed 33 people of our country. What are you doing?’
