Ceasefire: Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu has confirmed to stop the war with Iran. When former US President Donald Trump announced a ceasefire (ceasefire), Netanyahu also approved it a few hours later. Netanyahu said, “The motives behind the attack on Iran were now fulfilled. So now we are stopping war.” However, he also warned that if Iran violated the ceasefire, Israel would give a strong reply. This announcement was made by Netanyahu after an important security meeting on Monday night. After the meeting, he asked his ministers not to make any statement about the ceasefire. For this reason, there was no response from the Israeli government earlier, and many types of rumors were spreading.
According to a Jerusalem post report, Donald Trump himself spoke to Netanyahu before the ceasefire announcement. At the same time, Qatar has played the role of an intermediary in a conversation between Iran and America.
Trump first announced ceasefire
US President Donald Trump first announced a ceasefire (ceasefire) amidst the fast growing war between Israel and Iran. He said by tweeting on Tuesday night that the war will now be stopped. However, Iran initially refused to accept this and did not get any response from Israel. Both countries kept silence. But after a few hours passed, the two countries finally agreed to stop the war and they officially confirmed the ceasefire.
There was a 12 -day fierce battle between Israel and Iran
On the morning of June 13, Israel made major attacks on Iran. Many big military officers and nuclear scientists from Iran were killed in these attacks. In response, Iran also announced the war and started missile attacks on Israel. Iran was constantly firing missiles towards Israel, while Israel was also attacking Iran. The battle lasted for 12 days, in which both countries have lost heavy lives and goods.
On June 22, America also jumped into this battle
The US attacked Iran’s nuclear bases. In response, Iran stained missiles on the US Army base in Qatar on Monday. This caused the situation to deteriorate further and there was a danger of spreading war in the whole of West Asia. At a time when the two countries decided to ceasefire, Arab countries breathed a sigh of relief.
