The coaching centers have become black holes in the strong molds – Vice President Jagdeep Dhankhar | Coaching centers have become Black Holes Trapping Talent in Rigid Guels

quota . Vice President Jagdeep Dhankhad said that coaching centers (coaching centers) have become black holes in the strong molds. Dhankhar said that the coaching centers have now become a ‘poaching center’. Coaching centers are spreading uncontrollably, for our youth, which are our future – a serious crisis. We have to deal with this worrying evil. We cannot allow our education to be tarnished and contaminated in this way.

Dhankhar further said, “Now the country will be weak and subjugated by dependence on foreign digital infrastructure, not from any military attack. The forces are now converted into algorithm. The struggle to protect sovereignty will now be fought at a technical level.” Describing the technical leadership as the basis of new patriotism, the Vice President said, “We are entering a new era – in the era of a new nationalism. Technical leadership is now a new boundary line of patriotism. We have to become a global leader under technical leadership.” Dhankhar expressed concern over import-dependence in important areas like defense and said, “If we get technical equipment from outside in the field of defense, that country can bring us to a state of stagnation.”

Pointing to the changing global power structures in the digital age, he said, “The 21st -century battlefield is no longer land or sea. Traditional war is now a matter of past. Today our power and influence are decided by ‘Code, Cloud and Cyber’.” Speaking as the chief guest at the fourth convocation of Indian Institute of Information Technology, Kota, Rajasthan, Mr. Dhankhar said, “How do we not talk about Gurukul? Our Constitution also has a Gurukul’s image in 22 views. We have always believed in knowledge. Understand the seriousness of the problem and we need skill -based coaching to bring back to education. ”

Dhankhar, while warning on the ill effects of the competition of marks, said, “The passion for integer and standardization has eliminated curiosity, which is a natural part of human intelligence. The seats are limited but the coaching centers are spread everywhere. They mold the students’ minds for years, which can cause many psychological problems.” Inspiring the students to think above the marks, he said, “Your marksheet and numerals will not define you. While entering the competitive world, your knowledge and ability to think will define you.”

Referring to the digital field, the Vice President said, “A smart app that does not work in rural India is not enough smart. An AI model that does not understand regional languages is incomplete. A digital device that does not include the disabled is unjust.” Calling the youth to take the local solution to the global level, he said, “The youth of India should become a vigilant patron in the world of technology. We have to make Indian systems for India and make them global.”

Calling to make India a leader in digital self -sufficiency, he said, “We have to become the creator of our digital destiny and also affect the destiny of other countries. Our Kodar, Data Scientist, Blockchain Innovators and AI Engineers are today’s nation builders. India, who was ever a global leader, now could not live only as a user of lending technology. Earlier we have to wait for years. We should become an exporter of technology. “

Dhankhar opposed the tendency to operate education as a factory, saying, “We have to end this assembly-line culture as it is extremely dangerous for our education. Coaching centers are contrary to the spirit of national education policy. It creates obstacles in development and progress.” He criticized the huge expenditure on advertisements by coaching centers, saying, “There is a lot of money on advertisements and hoardings in newspapers. This money comes from students who either take loans or spend their studies with great difficulty. It is not a suitable use of money. These advertisements may seem attractive, but our civilian souls have become eyes.”

Concluding his address, the Vice President has strongly criticized the culture of rote education: “We are struggling with the crisis of the culture of rituals, which has only converted the vibrant brains into a mechanical stores of temporary information. There is neither immersion nor understanding. It is preparing the intellectual ‘zombie’ instead of creative thinkers. Connects without. ” On this occasion, Rajasthan Governor Haribhau Kisanrao Bagde, Chairman of the Board of Governors of the Institute, Lieutenant General (retired) A.K. Bhatt, Director Prof. N.P. Padhi and other dignitaries were also present.
