Kanpur news: The Railway Protection Force (RPF) at Kanpur Central Railway Station has achieved a significant success under Operation ‘Nanhe Farishte’. The RPF team riding in train number 12487 caught three of the four children traveling and rescued under suspicious circumstances.
During the investigation, these children were found scared. During interrogation, he named his names Mohammad Ajmal (12 years), Officeer (15 years), Sabir (16 years) and Tabrej (13 years). All of them are residents of Araria and Sikti districts of Bihar. He told that he had escaped from his house without telling anyone anything and was going towards some unknown destination.
All of them were kept under the supervision of the female staff of RPF. On July 22, the child line members Gaurav Sachan and Neha Khan were duly handed over to three minor children. At the same time, the age of Tabrez was found to be adult in the investigation, so he has been kept safe at the station till the arrival of the family.
The purpose of the checking campaign being conducted by RPF is to run away from home and identify children victims of human trafficking and save them in time. Also, another tragic incident has come to light.
On Tuesday, a person named Harishankar was putting up a tin shed with his brother -in -law Sandeep in the house under construction of Sunil Yadav of the village. During the work, a piece of tin touched by 11 thousand volt high -tension line. Due to fast current, both fell unconscious on the spot.
Local people rushed both of them to the district hospital, where doctors declared Sandeep dead, while Harishankar is severely scorched and is undergoing treatment.
