Mathura News: Mathura, July 27 – Police Refinery Police found a major success last night when two vicious vehicle thieves were arrested along with eight stolen motorcycles during checking. The action was taken near a bridge on Bareilly highway, where the police laid siege to the accused on the information of suspicious activities from Raya.
According to the police, at around 11:45 pm on July 27, it was reported from the informer that two youths were coming from Raya with a stolen bike. Taking the information seriously, the Refinery Police team, showing readiness, stopped the suspects and arrested them on the spot.
The arrested accused have been identified as Amit Kumar son Girwar Singh, resident of village Gera, police station Raya, age around 21 years, and Vikas Chaudhary son Virpal Singh, resident of village Jogpura, Thana Raya, age of about 20 years. A total of eight stolen motorcycles were recovered from his possession during the search.
During interrogation, the two accused admitted that they have been involved in bike theft incidents for a long time and were planning to sell motorcycles from various places. The police have registered a case against both and started legal proceedings.
On this success, Superintendent of Police Mathura has announced a letter of praise to the refinery police team. At the same time, local citizens appreciated the activism and readiness of the police and said that such actions create fear among criminals and faith in the common man.
