UP Politics: The Bharatiya Janata Party’s organization elections have gained momentum. Except for Uttar Pradesh and West Bengal, the BJP has decided the names of the state president in about eight states this week. The state president has been announced in six of the nine states bordering UP. It was worth noting in all these states that out of six states, BJP has handed over the post of state president to OBCs in three states and general class leaders in three states. Through these leaders, the BJP has tried to help the social equation.
The discussion in the political corridors is now that the BJP is preparing a strategy to play political bets in Uttar Pradesh. It is believed that the command of the state president in UP can be assigned to a Dalit leader. The reason behind making the Dalit leader the state president is also strong. This strategy of BJP can remove Akhilesh Yadav’s ‘PDA’. The SP has been in discussion for two years on the basis of ‘PDA’. At the same time, this bet of BJP will also increase the trouble of Bahujan Samaj Party.
BJP has given attention to this class in six states
The Bharatiya Janata Party has deployed the state president keeping in mind the caste equation in the states adjacent to UP. Madan Rathore has been given the command of the state president in Rajasthan. He belongs to the OBC society. Similarly, in Bihar, the party is commanding the organization Dilip Jaiswal. He comes from OBC society. At the same time, Hemant Khandelwal, who comes from the Vaishya community, has been made the president of Madhya Pradesh by the BJP.
Mahendra Bhatt, who comes from the Brahmin community in Uttarakhand, has been given the responsibility. At the same time, the responsibility of Himachal Pradesh has been given on the shoulders of Rajiv Bindal of Vaishya Samaj. In Chhattisgarh, BJP has appointed Kiran Singh Dev State President. She belongs to the OBC society. If seen in this way, the BJP has placed bets on OBCs in three of the six states and upper caste faces in three of the six states before deciding the name of the state president of UP. However, the state president has not yet been announced in UP and West Bengal.
Strategy to bring Dalit voters into the court
The Bharatiya Janata Party is preparing a strategy in view of the 2027 assembly elections in Uttar Pradesh. Manthan in the name of the state president is also part of this strategy. The BJP is looking for a state president in UP who can turn water on the opposition’s plans. Apart from demolishing SP’s ‘PDA’ formula, BJP is also trying to bring Dalit voters into its court.
