The Meteorological Department (IMD) has issued a red alert today and issued warning of extremely heavy rainfall at different places in many parts of Uttar Pradesh due to the impact of pressure made in southeastern Uttar Pradesh. Western Uttar Pradesh is also expected to receive good rains today.

The monsoon has almost dominated the whole of Uttar Pradesh and has strengthened its grip and the Meteorological Department has issued a new alert for the next 24 hours.
