Varanasi News: Varanasi, 13 July 2025: On July 5, in Chitauna village of Chaubepur police station area of Varanasi, the Rajbhar Samaj staged a two -day dharna demanding justice and security demanding justice and security to calm down the tension arising after the bloody struggle and assault between the Bhola Rajbhar family and the Sanjay Singh family. Sulekha Rajbhar of the victim’s family, Congress spokesperson Dr. Rahul Rajbhar, Mahendra Rajbhar of Jago Rajbhar, Arvind Bharadwaj and Harishchand Bind gathered at Shastri Ghat on 10 and 11 July.
During the protest demonstration, the Rajbhar Samaj laid its 6 -point demands. The picket was terminated on 11 July after the District Magistrate and Commissioner assured to accept the demands.
Today, on 13 July, DCP Varuna Zone, Pramod Kumar held a meeting in the police line with the team of people sitting on the movement with an explanation of those demands being accepted. The DCP explained in detail that the administration has accepted all the demands of the Rajbhar society and started necessary action on them:
The administration has formed a special investigation team (SIT) for a high -level inquiry into the case.
The line has been shifted to the concerned police station president and other responsible police personnel.
To ensure the safety of the victim’s family, they will be provided police protection at a private level and the family will also be given a gun license.
A special team of senior specialist doctors will analyze the medical side.
All treatment expenses will be arranged and reimbursed by the government.
Fake cases will be withdrawn after proper investigation.
The meeting appealed to the family and agitation personnel to maintain peace and harmony, so that no ethnic violence would be promoted. Jwala Rajbhar, Santosh Prajapati, Om Prakash Rajbhar, Sujit Rajbhar, Shashi Rajbhar, Ashish Rajbhar, Anil Rajbhar and Tilakdhari Rajbhar were also present in this meeting. The incident reflects the administration’s quick action and efforts to establish peace between the two sides.
