In which the name of the candidate for the post of Vice President will be fixed by the NDA. According to BJP sources, the organization is looking for an experienced and ideologically committed candidate for the post of Vice President.
According to sources, Deputy Chairman Harivansh is being considered a strong contender for the post of Vice President from the NDA. However, nothing can be said clearly right now. Because BJP is always known for shocking decisions.
Who is heavy in number games
In the Lok Sabha, the NDA has the support of 293 MPs, while India have 234 MPs. At the same time, the NDA 130 has an MP in the Rajya Sabha. India, on the other hand, have only 79 MPs. The number of some members of Lok Sabha and Rajya Sabha is 782. The Vice Presidential election requires about 392 votes. In such a situation, the NDA has a clear majority of 423 MPs. In this way, NDA candidate is believed to be Vice President.
At the same time, the India alliance may not have a majority for the Vice Presidential elections. But even after this, India has made it clear that its candidate will also be in the election. Congress President Mallikarjun Kharge had told that the meeting of the India alliance will be held soon and the name of the candidate will be decided with the consent of all.
