Patna . Leader of Opposition Tejashwi Yadav demanded that voter list revision should be argued in the assembly (should be Debated in Assembly). Tejashwi Yadav said during a conversation with reporters at the Legislature campus that an important meeting of the MLA parties of the Grand Alliance was held, in which a big decision was taken.
Tejashwi Yadav clearly said that all of us are demanded from the Speaker that the voter list should be discussed in the assembly. The biggest temple of democracy is the Bihar Legislative Assembly. Bihar is the mother of democracy. If we try to end democracy from here, then we will not sit silent. Will fight from Parliament to the road. We will fight the battle of the poor. He alleged that the names are being removed from the voter list of poor, Dalits, backward and minority classes in the state so that they can be prevented from voting in the elections. If the discussion is not done, it will be opposed on a large scale tomorrow.
He warned that if the government does not accept our demand, then the coming time will not be made to answer these people. He said that a letter has been written to all the leaders of the opposition regarding this issue. People are also firmly picking it up in Parliament. In Bihar too, we will raise this issue with firmness. The government will have to discuss this issue at any cost. He also targeted the government for law and order. He said that all of us will raise every issue in the House.
Prior to the assembly elections in Bihar, the opposition has opened a front against the special intensive revision (SIR) campaign of the voter list. The opposition’s performance on the voter test on the first day of the monsoon session of the Bihar Legislature starting on Monday is clear that the session will be ruckus and the SIR will be the main issue.
