Weather News: The monsoon system operating in Kanpur, Hamirpur region of North Madhya Pradesh and adjacent to it is now moving fast towards west. According to the Meteorological Department, the system is likely to enter Alwar and Bharatpur districts of East Rajasthan within the next 24 hours. Due to this effect, there is a possibility of widespread rainfall in eastern Rajasthan and western Madhya Pradesh.
According to meteorologists, this system will receive moderate to heavy rains in several districts including Gwalior, Shivpuri, Bhind, Morena, Ujjain, Indore and Ratlam in Madhya Pradesh. At the same time, there are chances of heavy rains in Rajasthan’s Kota, Bundi, Sawai Madhopur, Tonk, Dausa, and Jaipur. Western districts like Bikaner, Jaisalmer, Jodhpur, Barmer and Nagaur have also been expected to have good rainfall.
This system is so effective that its effect will appear till Churu, Jhunjhunu, Sikar in North Rajasthan. Also, there is a strong possibility of increasing rain activities in the areas of southeastern Haryana. At the same time, in other parts of Haryana and Ganganagar and Hanumangarh areas of Punjab, light to moderate and some places can be seen in some places.
In addition, there are chances of moderate to strong rainfall in western Uttar Pradesh, Delhi-NCR, Uttarakhand and some parts of Himachal Pradesh. The possibility of waterlogging and traffic affecting in these areas cannot be denied. The impact of this system in the Gujarat region will be limited, but sporadic rainfall is possible in parts of Saurashtra and Kutch. The Meteorological Department has advised farmers and public to be vigilant.
