New Delhi . The Military Conflict released between Israel and Iran (Military Conflict) for Indian Soldiers has no immediate effect on the supply of munitions and spare parts required for Indian soldiers, but there is no immediate effect on the current, but it may have an impact if it is prolonged. Indian Express has given this information in a report by Indian Defense Officers on Sunday. A senior military official said, “This war is still new and has no clear impact on Indian defense equipment or spare supply. If it runs long, the weapon supply could be affected.”
India has bought a large amount of modern weapons and defense systems from Israel in the last decade. These include Skystrier Looting Municipalians, Heron and Survey Dimation, Derby Air-Air Missile, Spice-20000 Guided Bomb, Spike Anti Tank Missile, Spider Air Defense System, Barak 8 Air Defense System, Negav Light Machine Gun, Network Radio and Sensor System. Many of these weapons were recently used in Operation Sindoor against Pakistan.
There are several defense joint ventures working with Israeli companies in India, which create spare parts and equipment. According to officials, this partnership will help ensure the supply issued, even if Israel is busy in war. “Many high-Primary Engineering Companies within the country are working on Israeli contract, which is less likely to obstruct the supply chain,” the official said.
Comparison with Russia-Ukraine War
The situation is different from the Russia-Ukraine War, affecting the supply of many Soviet-made platforms of the Indian Army. Especially S-400 triumph missile system delays, fighter jets, transport aircrafts and arms systems, as well as the US CAATSA sanctions and the economic sanctions of Western countries disrupted the Russian supply chain.
