Yoga day 2025: Yoga is a straight and simple medium to keep both body and mind healthy. International Yoga Day was celebrated with great pomp across the country and the state to make people aware of Yoga. From people of political parties to the common man attended these programs. State Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath also did yoga, while Deputy CM Brajesh Pathak also performed yoga. In such a situation, International Yoga Day was also celebrated with great enthusiasm in the districts of the state.

At the same time, Subharti University of Meerut in Uttar Pradesh was fully painted in the color of yoga on Saturday. The occasion was the 11th International Yoga Day, whose theme was – “Earth, one health”. The sound and positive energy of yoga started to communicate in the entire campus in the morning.

The program was inaugurated by State Convenor of BJP Trade Cell Vineet Aggarwal Sharda and Vice Chancellor Major General Dr. G.K. Thapliyal lit a lamp. A large number of students, teachers and officials together performed yoga and committed for health.

Chief guest Vineet Sharda said in his inspiring address, “Yoga is the gift of sages, which Prime Minister Narendra Modi has given pride on the world stage. Healthy citizens are the basis of strong nation, and yoga is the most effective means in this direction.”

Vice Chancellor Dr. Thapliyal described yoga as the key to stress -free life and mental concentration. He also got the students and teachers resolve to regular yoga from the stage itself.

In the program, Dr. Abhay Shankar Gowda, Principal of Maharishi Arvindo Subharti College of Naturopathy and Yogic Sciences, said that “Yoga is now not just spiritual, but also a career option.” He highlighted BNYS courses and immense employment possibilities.

Head of Physical Education Department Dr. Sandeep Kumar said, “Yoga is a panacea to keep both body and mind healthy.” The stage was conducted by Dr. Indira, while the yoga practice was conducted by Dr. Nishant Singh and Kapil Shakya.

In Subharti, not only yoga was done on this day, but everyone saw the dream of ‘Swasth Bharat’ with open eyes.

CCSU created history on Yoga Day: One and a half million people together performed Surya Namaskar, Gunja ‘Om’

Meerut, 21 June. Chaudhary Charan Singh University saw such a wonderful view on the 11th International Yoga Day, which made not only Meerut, but the whole country proud. On the concluding occasion of the seven -day yoga camp held on the theme ‘Van Earth, Van Health’, more than one and a half lakh people together in the university campus and its associated colleges created a new history by doing Surya Namaskar.

The ceremony began with the divine sound and Vedic chanting of Om, which brought energy and positivity to the atmosphere. After this, Yogguru Swami Karmaveer Ji Maharaj, who reached the stage, made a collective recitation of Gayatri Mantra and introduced people to the esoteric secrets of yoga. He appealed to avoid artificial foods like bread, adopt Ayurveda and include yoga and pranayama in daily life.

The special attraction was the live telecast of Prime Minister Narendra Modi and Governor Anandiben Patel, which was carefully watched and heard by thousands of people on a huge screen. The message of the Prime Minister was – “Yoga is not just exercise, it is the science of life.”

Vice Chancellor Prof. Sangeeta Shukla said, “Surya Namaskar is the exercise of the whole body. It makes the body healthy, calm the brain and disciplines life.” He urged everyone to adopt yoga in lifestyle.

In the closing, Swamiji performed many yogasanas including Mahayoga, Mandukasana, Ujai Pranayama, which got absorbed in the whole campus like Sadhana. This event became not just a camp, but a lively proof of the power of yoga, which gave Meerut a new identity.

A grand event on “Earth, A Health” theme on International Yoga Day

International Yoga Day- Yoga is not just exercise, the art of living is: Rajni Kant Tiwari

Gonda news: In Gonda district of UP, the 11th International Yoga Day took place in all the tehsils. On the occasion of 11th International Yoga Day in Tehsil Colonelganj, an inspirational yoga camp was organized at Uttar Pradesh Skill Development Center Bhambhua under the aegis of my youth India-Gonda Youth Program and Sports Ministry, Government of India and Associate Radhe Foundation. In the camp, yoga instructors Hemant Singh and Pooja Dixit explained the scientific and spiritual significance of yoga in simple language by performing yoga to the youth.

He said that yoga is the coordination of body, mind and soul, by adopting which a person not only remains healthy but also attains mental peace. Vinay Kumar Srivastava, who is presiding over the program, said that yoga camps are being operated in all the development blocks of the district through my youth Bharat Gonda. The objective of this initiative is to inspire the youth and common people to practice regular yoga practice.
